Powder Puffs to Brushes now offers our services in the beautiful area of Charleston South Carolina, the Low Country. There is a booming wedding business here due to the stunning beaches, resorts and Southern Hospitality. The brides of Charleston needed a team to step in and bring them the tricks and trends of Hollywood and now they have it!

I have bragged about the many benefits of Airbrush Makeup in many of my posts and the lovely ladies of the Low Country deserve to experience these benefits which are a necessity for any special occasion, especially weddings. Powder Puffs to Brushes has been a part of Southern California's high-end wedding business for close to a decade. During these years we have worked with hundreds of brides who range from actresses, models and politicians. I have been the Official Makeup Artist for the California International Pageant circuit for six years and through that time I have worked with some of the most beautiful girls/women on the planet and have seen some of the most fashion forward gowns around but was stopped in my tracks when I came across Dress Prom's fashions and helpful website. These guys know what's hot and can only imagine that they have to be attending some of the top market shows to bring their current and potential clients dresses that are awe inspiring and eye catching. I find myself wanting to go back in time and attend Prom all over again just so I can wear one of these gowns. Behind the Scenes of the Charlotte Russe Holiday 2009 Catalog Photoshoot

I have had the pleasure of working with an amazing team this week for the Charlotte Russe 2009 holiday catalog photoshoot. The locations have been spectacular and the clothing super fashionable. There were at least a dozen outfits I can't wait to buy! The ever charming and magnificent Artists on set were Rick Gabrone (Hair), Niki Uberti (Makeup), Stacey Hummell (Makeup) and myself, Jacey Cosentino (Hair). We all are signed with Next Artist Management. The Executives at CR booked the New York lot at Paramount Studios for the Monday shoot. The models and photo crew climbed fire escapes, worked through a snowstorm (well, fake snow that is) and dodged taxi's; all to capture that perfect shot. Here are a few shots from behind the scenes at Paramount Studios (shhhh... don't tell anyone).















Paramount Studios was an amazing location to shoot at but the last two days of shooting were done at the Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills. The Mansion was one of the most gorgeous LA locations I have ever had the pleasure to work at. A 412 acre property of ponds, luxurious gardens, never ending rooms with not one detail left out. Charrlotte Russe Executives brought in Wolves, fog machines and exquisite furniture for the models to work with. It was truly a memorable week. The New Wave in Beauty Parties

Through my years as a Professional Makeup Artist and Hairstylist I have been asked by clients and party planners more times than I can count for fun and inviting beauty party ideas. I have done countless Makeover Parties which are always a blast!! After almost a decade of offering Makeover Parties I began to think that I needed something different that I could offer my clients and party planners, so I started brainstorming and researching. After about two years the Prim Cosmetics line and Prim Couture Bath and Body Parties were born!

My fellow Prim associates and I will show up at your soiree with over 40 (yes, 40+!!) of the finest and most inviting scents and fragrances on the market. Fellow Powder Puff Girls.... I am thrilled to announce that I just signed on a third fabulously girly Cosmetics Company "Mally Beauty"!!


Mally is a Makeup Artist to the stars (I believe she's done even more celebs than I have, wow!! lol!). She's pretty enough to be a star herself and probably is now that she launched her Cosmetics line. Her products will blow you away! She has the most unbelievable waterproof and smudge proof eyeliners I have EVER found. Her black eyeliner stayed on for 3days, NO JOKE!! Her product packaging is flirty but sophisticated.
